Story of the departed

New Yorkban (USA) született 1893. február 28-án. Teológiai tanulmányait Eperjesen végezte. Novák István eperjesi megyéspüspök 1917. november 4-én szentelte az Eperjesi Egyházmegye görög-katolikus papjává. Kezdetben segédlelkész és hittanárként tevékenykedett Eperjesen, majd 1919-től volt Mikóházán helyettes lelkész, később parókus 1950-es haláláig. 1924-ben került a Miskolci Apostoli Exarchátus kötelékébe. 1935-ben pápai káplán címet nyert. Mikóházán hunyt el 1950. április 11-én, a helyi temetőben kísérték utolsó útjára, sírja ma is a templomkertben látható. Felesége Korotnoki Márta volt, akitől két leánygyermeke született már Mikóházán: Marianne Dorottya (1920,) Márta Katalin (1922). Hosszú szolgálati ideje alatt a falu lakosai életében fontos szerepet töltött be.
