Story of the departed

Klein Lajos Kisvárdán született. A 65. közös gyalogezredben szolgált, gyalogosként. 1916. augusztus 26-án, 18 évesen hunyt el az olasz harctéren.

A világháború kitörésekor vonult be ezredünkhöz háborús katonai szolgálatra. Kiképzése után az orosz harctérre került és 36 hónapon át úgy az orosz, mint a román harctereken részt vett az ezred összes harcaiban. Az összeomlás után tért haza Ukrajnából és szerelt le.

Kitüntetései: Bronz v. é. (2), és a Károly csapatkereszt.
